About the abstracts:

"While the Latin Pop paintings are narrative and lyrical, my abstracts are, more often than not, solely about creating pieces that appeal to my senses. I ask no more of them. The process is much like solving a puzzle; once I choose what the next element of the painting will be, I have to figure out where it will fit into the composition."
